Practice and Self-Testing

  • To practice problems in FinMath, choose the Practice Mode. Then, choose topics and sub-topics and also the number of problems you wish to practice.
  • Proceed forward by pressing the double-forward button. FinMath Intelligent Coach generates problems sequentially following your list of chosen sub-topics. You can move back and forth between problems using the Back and Forward buttons.
  • Once your list of problems is exhausted, FinMath prompts you to find out if you wish to generate another set of problems using the same list.
  • You can save problems to a file and re-run them at a later time.
  • You can also choose to print problems at any time. As a first step, the Editor can be used to print problems, which helps you do any editing before sending them to the printer.
  • To self-test in FinMath, choose the Test Mode. Then, choose topics and sub-topics as also the number of problems you wish to practice.
  • Proceed forward by pressing the double-forward button. First, you will be prompted to choose the aides you wish to use in the self-test mode. Then, to facilitate printing or emailing results, you will be prompted to fill a brief form.
  • The Intelligent Coach generates problems sequentially following your list of chosen sub-topics. You can move back and forth between problems using the Back and Forward buttons.
  • FinMath monitors your performance and records it.
  • Once you finish the test, you can choose to print or email the results.
